How To Join
Direct with WVAM
You can join WVAM and IAM Roadsmart in one of the following ways:-
- Come along to our observed Sunday meeting and talking to one of our meet’n’greet team at the New Members Desk. Payment can be made by debit/credit card, cash or cheque.
- Contact us :- we will respond, usually within 48 hours, and take you through the joining process. You can pay by debit or credit card via a secure payment link we send to you.
WVAM have Observed Sundays every first Sunday of the month at Ripley Village Hall. Arrive before 09.15 and enjoy a very reasonably priced bacon sandwich and chat to one of our Observers. You can join immediately or you may prefer to take a no-obligation assessment ride to get a feel of whether taking the IAM Roadsmart Advanced Rider Course is for you. Discounts and offers may be available.

You can join IAM Roadsmart directly via their website but if you want to be allocated to Wey Valley, ensure you enter ‘Group No.2155 WEY VALLEY ADVANCED MOTORCYCLISTS’ into the “Your preferences section”. Once allocated to WVAM, we will contact you with further information. Alternatively, you may have received an IAM gift membership, bring the membership form you received in the post down to us on any Observed Sunday.
Which ever route you decide on, come and see us. You’ll find we are as much a cross section of Motorcyclists as you would find anywhere at any motorcycle meet. No one smokes a pipe and none of them wear slippers (at least not in the hall!).
